LATEST SCHOOL SAGA
1. Federal government said ASUU Strike won't affect University resumption because the Vice Chancellors of private Universities are already on their neck. Schools will definitely reopen next month but ASUU Strike may affect some schools if nothing is done.
2. In a closed door meeting held yesterday, ASUU presented a new method of salary payment to federal government and rejected IPPIS. ASUU vowed to remain on strike unless FG cancel the IPPIS which their members were forced to register into.
3. Federal University of Petroleum Resources (FUPRE) has announced Post---Utme form, registration fee is 2000 and aspirants must score 180 and above.
4. Uniben Post---Utme/DE registration will kick off on monday 17th august. Aspirants can do registration anywhere, just visit a good cafe. Aspirants should chat me to get good books and other materials for their exams. Practice past questions and good books. For English language, HIDDEN SECRET and DANDY ENGLISH is highly recommended. Those who have bought the hidden secret should practice the questions and master it before entering the exam Hall.
5. In a meeting held yesterday between FG and major stakeholders in the education sector, All Universities agreed to give students 2 weeks for revision, then exams kick off.
6. As at today, 373 new covid-19 cases has been discovered. As long as other sectors are opened and students in exit classes have resumed, there is no need keeping the rest students at home because of covid-19. Students are no longer afraid of covid-19 but they are now afraid of the continuous closure of Schools because their future largely depends on education. Schools must surely reopen next month but ASUU is a big threat to public Universities. Let's pray FG attend to members of ASUU this month because no more time to waste.
