NERD Clearance — Key Points for Students

What It Is:
NERD Clearance verifies and digitizes your academic records (certificates, transcripts, projects, etc.) and assigns a National Credential Number (NCN) with a QR code for easy verification.

Why It Matters:
Required for NYSC mobilization, job verification, and academic record validation.

Students Must:
1. Visit 👉 https://ned.gov.ng/onboarding
2. Upload approved project/dissertation/thesis with certification page.
3. Fill project sections and submit.
4. Get your NERD Clearance Slip as proof of verification.

Institutions’ Role:
Schools upload student records via their NERD Record Officer under the Registrar.

Authorized URLs:
• Onboarding: ned.gov.ng/onboarding
• Upload Dashboard (from Oct 14, 2025): ned.gov.ng/login
