Siri has some competition.�“DAPHNE” one of four episodes premiering on 10.26 as part of FX’s American Horror Stories event. Only on Hulu.

Season 3 of the renowned American Horror Stories spinoff anthology has returned, unveiling a quartet of chilling new installments. Once again, FX/Hulu entrusted us with the task of crafting a promotional video that seamlessly weaves together the thematic threads and characters explored throughout this season.

Our creative strategy was to construct a dynamic motion piece that traveled through the key elements of each episode. In doing so, we sought to establish a visually striking universe that encapsulates the look and feel of this frightening new selection of horror tales.

Prior to embarking on production, FX furnished us with multiple 3D photogrammetry scans featuring the actors and props from the episodes. We were therefore able to work on an entirely CG-based workflow with our in-house team of 3D animators and designers, building surreal transitions that would have otherwise been impossible to achieve through a traditional live-action shoot. This approach also allowed us to carefully art direct the look and feel of the piece, purposefully curating each source of light, every object, and every camera angle with precision, all in service of achieving the desired style and movement.

genre... These were some of the ideas that FX approached us with when asking if we could
pitch an idea for the graphics package of American Horror Story’s latest installment, titled 1984 .
The 80’s slasher-themed direction of this new season provided us with a starting point to create

Breakdown - NomadiQ - We love summer (especially now!) and we love BBQs, so when NomadiQ asked us to make a flashy new video to promote their new portable, lightweight gas BBQ, we were happy to help out. We had a lot of fun creating this dynamic CG-driven piece and exploring different ways to showcase the multiple features this product has to offer.

Pathe Thuis now grants you the option to go to the cinema; at home! Talpa approached us to help with the creation of this commercial for Pathe Thuis. The idea was to show homes through-out the Netherlands turn into movie theaters. Challenge with this project was the short turn-around time.
In a period of two to three weeks, we went from animatic to shoot and final vfx production.

As part of Under Armour’s Holistic training campaign, we had the chance to help direct a shoot featuring world-class heavyweight boxer Anthony Joshua. We shot a variety of drills, training exercises, simulated fighting scenarios, and recovery moments in order to give a full picture of AJ’s day-to-day routine as a top athlete. Through the various shots we captured, we were able to prominently feature Under Armour products as well as their use in AJ’s training and preparation.

Following this shoot, our in-house post-production team edited the footage to create short, high-energy sequences that would eventually be used for online and social media promotion. We collaborated with Amsterdam-based Captcha for the colour-grading of the footage.

TBWA asked us to produce a motion piece that would promote both Adidas' brand new Real Madrid kit for 2019-2020 as well as the club's recently acquired star players. For the upcoming season, Real Madrid is returning to its iconic white and gold colours, with its player names featured in glorious gold lettering. For this project, we had the opportunity to experiment with fluid simulations to create streams of liquid gold that form the letters of the various player names.

Three creative agencies collaborate on promo video to help raise awareness for Dekker’s Doctors Without Borders (Artsen zonder Grenzen Nederland Everest expedition.

In a show of support towards Doctors Without Borders, and their ambassador Wilco Dekker in particular, three major players in the Dutch design, video production and music scene are collaborating on the climber’s fundraising videos. By broadcasting the promotional videos, the parties involved hope to create awareness and raise funds for the charity, while inspiring others to do the same.

MT Everest - Over the next few days we will be teasing an upcoming video we made for Wilco Dekker, who is currently preparing for an expedition to the summit of Mount Everest!
