First post for a very long time & first book recommendation

I started reading Atomic Habits because of the amazing reviews… and honestly, from chapter 1, I was hooked.

I’m currently on chapter 6, and already one idea really changed my perspective:

You don’t need to give 100% every single day.
You just need to improve 1% daily.

That small 1% doesn’t feel like much.
But over a year? It compounds. It adds up. It transforms.

Another powerful lesson:
If you want to build a habit, don’t rely on motivation — design your environment to make the habit easy.

Make it obvious.
Make it simple.
Make it sustainable.

So far, I highly recommend this book. And I’m only getting started.

Three months on the Costa del Sol felt like a little lifetime. Spending the winter on my home coast was an amazing decision – being with friends and family, working a lot, focusing on my project, and walking tens of thousands of kilometers.

Just got back from two packed and inspiring days in Vienna at the Vendure Convention. Meeting Vendure’s creator Michael, CEO David, and Max COO —they’re doing some great work.

For those unfamiliar, Vendure is an open-source eCommerce platform designed for enterprise-level-Graded solutions. It’s built with a modern tech stack and focuses on flexibility, making it a great choice for businesses that need something beyond the standard plug-and-play options. My own platform is built on Vendure, so I was keen to see where they’re heading.

Two big takeaways for me: first, their commitment to staying bootstrapped and independent—no VC money. Second, they’re merging with Elevantiq to strengthen their team and push Vendure forward. That gives me real confidence in the future of the platform and its stability.

The convention was a great experience overall, with impressive speakers and developers from all over the world—places like the Netherlands, Germany, the US, Kenya, and more. It’s clear that Vendure has built a global community of innovators.

I’m heading back with plenty of ideas and a renewed sense of direction. The future looks bright for Vendure, and I’m glad to be part of the journey!

🇪🇸👇🏼 Today is my birthday, and like we often do on days like this, we think about how much we should have accomplished by now… But looking back, you realize how much has been done, lived through, and how much still lies ahead. I’m excited for the next year and everything it will bring.
