De Nederlandsche Bank (DNB) just released a study on where our time goes, and the results for education are a wake-up call.

We are losing a full day per week to non-core tasks – a percentage that is significantly higher for us than for the rest of the workforce.

The authors found that we cite shorter, less frequent meetings as the primary way to reclaim our time and reduce work stress.

When creative issues need to be solved, it is better to come together than to do it via video. This leads to better results. That is why it is so important to settle meeting points, which do not require creativity, in writing as much as possible. This saves a lot of time, creating space for cases for which eye contact and association are decisive for success ✅
