A custom piece for Pol inspired by Leonardo da Vinci’s Vitruvian Man, combined with flowing botanical forms and surreal imagery. Thanks again, man. It was nice meeting you, and thanks for the review, really appreciate it! Love how this one turned out.

This design was inspired by Right in Two by Tool. The core themes were free will, human division, the monolith from 2001: A Space Odyssey, and subtle references to the work of Alex Grey.

The central element is the two monkeys. At first glance they appear to oppose one another, but they eventually merge into a single form. That’s my interpretation of Right in Two. To me, the line “monkey killing monkey” isn’t just about conflict, but also about the illusion of separation. The two monkeys aren’t enemies; they’re different expressions of the same consciousness.

Standing between them is the monolith from 2001: A Space Odyssey. It symbolises human potential: the same consciousness that allows us to create also gives us the power to destroy.

This is the third tattoo I’ve had the pleasure of creating for Guyon, and he always comes up with fun ideas. As a Godzilla fan, this iconic monster was the perfect addition to his collection.

Inspired by The Garden of Earthly Delights by Jheronimus Bosch, I created this custom piece for Evelien. A strange figure suspended somewhere between a mermaid and a knight, riding a flying fish through a dreamlike landscape. I always enjoy translating the surreal imagery of Bosch into contemporary tattoo designs.

Sometimes a first tattoo needs a reason to exist. For Daan, that reason was his children. He came to me with the idea of turning their favorite stuffed animals (a fox and a hare) into a tattoo. Beyond that, I was given complete freedom to create something in my own style. Thanks Daan was really nice meeting you!
