New planner, who dis?

Lately my focus has not been on selling planner/crafty goodies, but I still wanted to create a custom planner for myself. ❤ī¸ I'll be sharing future planner spreads over on Retro Hugs on Instagram though.

This planner has everything I love right now; rainbows, a big vertical layout, metal rings, Animal Crossing vibe and off-white paper. Perfect to brighten my day when I need it.

I designed the inserts, hand cut every single piece of paper (one by one), printed the inserts and cut them (also one by one). I love the end result but there's no way I can create this planner for my shop. Too costly and too much work involved for the price people are willing to pay for a custom planner. But if I like the planner enough I'll definitely create it for myself again.

I'm gonna use the planner for appointments, school/work related stuff, birthdays, memory planning, meal planning etc.

The first photo is from exactly 5 years ago (ewww quality lol), when I just started expanding my washi tape collection. This was before I had my Retro Hugs planner Insta.

To this day these are still favourite washi tapes! Look at the second photo to see just how much of the golden/brass, teal, seafoam and white/black with 'things' text washi I've used. 😱

I use them regularly, and I don't regret buying multiples, as it seems HEMA doesn't sell similar size washi tapes anymore. And unfortunately the quality of some of the collections of recent years has been a bit mehhhh... So I really cherish these tapes ❤ī¸

I wrote this on my personal blog, and it is mostly about my gaming sites. But this very much involves Retro Hugs too.

I'm taking a break this fall/winter from my planner shop due to mental health issues. I'll do custom orders if you contact me though! I do not want to let my loyal customers down. If you truly want my inserts for 2020, contact me privately and I will still make them for you. But I will not put a public listing up at this time for 2020, only custom listings.
