During the first edition of GLOW in Veldhoven, the city transformed into an enchanting landscape of light, stories, and imagination. Across streets, squares, and unexpected locations, people came together to walk, explore, and share moments of wonder. Visitors of all ages and backgrounds experienced how light can create connection and lasting memories.

Along the route, a diverse selection of artworks was presented, including Droomstad and Day of the Living Colors , Guardians of Time, Weeping Willows, and Twinkle. With Step into the Light, Michel Suks created an intimate light experience that recalled memories of the former Speelhuis theatre in Helmond.

With Blueprint, we projected the original architectural drawings of the Veldhoven station building onto its existing façade, revealing the dialogue between design and reality. GLOW Veldhoven showed how light can connect history, emotion, and imagination in public space. 💡

Tijdens de eerste editie van GLOW in Veldhoven veranderde de stad in een betoverend landschap van licht, verhalen en verbeelding. Op pleinen, in straten en op onverwachte plekken kwamen mensen samen om te wandelen, te kijken en ervaringen te delen. Jong en oud, lokaal en internationaal, ontdekten hoe licht herinneringen kan oproepen en nieuwe verbindingen kan creëren.

Langs de route ontmoetten bezoekers uiteenlopende werken, van Droomstad en Day of the Living Colors tot Guardians of Time, Weeping Willows en Twinkle. Met Step into the Light bracht Michel Suks een intieme lichtbeleving die herinneringen aan het verdwenen Speelhuis in Helmond tot leven riep.

Met Blueprint lieten wij het Stationsgebouw spreken door de originele blauwdruk te projecteren over de bestaande gevel. Een visueel spel tussen plan en werkelijkheid, ontwerp en uitvoering. GLOW Veldhoven liet zien hoe licht geschiedenis, emotie en verbeelding samenbrengt. 💡

✨ GLOW 2025 | Regional Project Lieshout ✨

For the first time, GLOW illuminated Lieshout, transforming the village into a place of connection, colour, and imagination. Along a short yet surprising route, visitors came together to explore light art, share moments, and create new memories. Young and old, local and international.

From Droomstad to De Liefde der Lieshout, where voices, sounds, and images of residents formed a heartfelt tribute to the village. And with Binnenwereld, the Malt Tower became a gateway to the unknown, blurring the line between reality and imagination. GLOW Lieshout showed how light brings people together and invites us to see the world differently. 💡

Voor het eerst bracht GLOW licht naar Lieshout en veranderde het dorp in een ontmoetingsplek vol kleur, verwondering en verbeelding. Langs een korte maar verrassende route kwamen mensen samen om lichtkunst te ontdekken, ervaringen te delen en nieuwe herinneringen te maken. Jong en oud, van dichtbij en ver weg.

Van Droomstad tot De Liefde der Lieshout, waarin verhalen, stemmen en beelden van bewoners samenkwamen in een ode aan het dorp. En bij Binnenwereld werd de Mouttoren een venster naar het onbekende, waar licht en fantasie elkaar ontmoetten. GLOW Lieshout liet zien hoe licht verbindt, raakt en uitnodigt om anders te kijken. 💡

In het In the heart of Oirschot, historic buildings and cultural heritage were reimagined through light. Along a three-kilometre route, people came together to explore, reflect, and share moments of wonder. Visitors of all ages and backgrounds experienced twelve light artworks, created by international and local artists, for and with the community.

From the poetic childhood perspective of Les Fleurs Oubliées to the fairytale-like projections on the tower of St. Peter’s Basilica. From the interactive sound-and-light experience of a|rp|ay to the colourful visual stories of Light Delight. GLOW Oirschot showed how light connects places, people, and imagination. 💡

In het hart van Oirschot kreeg cultureel erfgoed een nieuw licht. Langs een route van ongeveer drie kilometer kwamen mensen samen om te kijken, te wandelen en te beleven. Jong en oud, lokaal en internationaal, deelden momenten van verwondering tussen twaalf lichtkunstwerken, speciaal gemaakt voor én door bewoners en bezoekers.

Van de poëtische wereld van Les Fleurs Oubliées, waar je met de ogen van een kind opnieuw leert kijken, tot de sprookjesachtige projecties op de toren van de Sint-Petrusbasiliek. Van interactieve lichtklanken bij a|rp|ay tot de kleurrijke verhalen van Light Delight. GLOW Oirschot liet zien hoe licht niet alleen gebouwen verlicht, maar ook verbeelding, ontmoeting en herinneringen. 💡

In Best werd lichtkunst ontdekt op onverwachte plekken. Op pleinen, in plantsoenen en verborgen in de straten ontvouwde zich een route waar mensen samenkwamen en ervaringen deelden. Jong en oud, lokaal en internationaal, beleefden samen de kracht van licht en ontmoeting.

Langs een route van ongeveer drie kilometer waren twaalf lichtkunstwerken te bewonderen, gemaakt door internationale en lokale kunstenaars, speciaal voor én door bewoners en bezoekers. Eén van de hoogtepunten was Blueprint by Pronorm, waarbij de oorspronkelijke blauwdruk van de Prinsenhof werd geprojecteerd over de bestaande gevel. Een visuele dialoog tussen plan en werkelijkheid, tussen ontwerp en uitvoering.

GLOW Best liet zien dat afwijken van het plan soms juist tot iets onverwachts en moois leidt.

In Best, light art was discovered in unexpected places. Across squares, green spaces, and hidden corners of the streets, a route unfolded where people came together and shared experiences. Young and old, local and international visitors gathered to connect through light.

Along a three-kilometre route, twelve light artworks were presented by both international and local artists, created especially for and with residents and visitors. One of the highlights was Blueprint by Pronorm, where the original architectural blueprint of the Prinsenhof was projected onto the existing façade. A visual dialogue between design and reality, between intention and ex*****on.

GLOW Best showed that deviations from the plan can sometimes lead to the most meaningful results.
