SPIRIT

There is something special about encountering a work again after some time — especially when it has found a place in the home of the person who chose it.

Seeing it there evokes a particular feeling, difficult to describe in words. A feeling I also try to capture in my own work: something between memory, presence and emotion.

Today, the installation of the exhibition KLEIN FORMAAT has begun. My oil painting CARRYING THE SONGS (30 × 30 cm, oil on linen) has found a beautiful place in the hall of Pulchri Studio.
