During the Bachelor and Master studies at the Delft University of Technology I developed great interest for design in its broad sense of the word starting from developing a product idea by sketches up to refining last details for manufacturing and building a brand around it. Any designer needs to be skilled in many disciplines to be a good one and I am continuously doing my best to improve. In my
work I try to seek for balance between the rationality and emotion. At the end of the day, any product should solve the problem it is designed for. It will though inevitably evoke emotions and associations with the most unrelated things just like a car has a face. Curiosity is one of the most important drives in my work. Many projects derive from an observation or a simple question “What if…” and I am always keen about what this can evolve into. I love to impress people whether it is an idea sketch or a technical solution. My graduation project at the university combined the most of my interests and skills and also partly defined the direction of my present work with Xtenders, a strong brand that designs and builds custom full carbon motor yachts.
