Sound Audio Processing maakt en verkoopt computerprogramma’s voor audio processing (= manipulatie van geluidssignalen). Al meer dan 250 FM- en nog veel meer internet-radiostations werken met de geavanceerde software van Sound Audio Processing. Daarnaast maken al meer dan een miljoen liefhebbers gebruik van de gratis download-versie. Allen vinden het belangrijk dat hun muziek qua volume even hard e

n zowel via goedkope als hoogwaardige luidsprekers goed klinkt. Daarnaast willen veel FM-radiostations graag zo hard mogelijk klinken, omdat uit onderzoek blijkt dat luisteraars dan eerder blijven hangen. Van Zutphen ontwikkelt software die een sterk verbeterde geluidskwaliteit voortbrengt vergeleken met traditionele methoden die radiostations gebruiken. Met deze software klinkt hun muziek tegelijkertijd harder én veel zuiverder dan tot nu toe mogelijk was. In de afgelopen decennia zijn liedjes door de muziekindustrie steeds harder opgenomen. Dit gebeurt onder andere door het weg'snijden' van pieken in het geluid (clipping), wat zorgt voor vervorming en een slechtere geluidskwaliteit. De audio processor van Sound Audio Processing biedt, als eerste ter wereld, een zogenaamde declipper. Deze detecteert waar pieken zijn weggesneden en herstelt ze. Hierdoor verdwijnt de vervorming vrijwel volledig en wordt de dynamiek van het geluid hersteld. Inmiddels heeft de marktleider op het gebied van FM-processors, Omnia, een licentie op de declipper van Sound Audio Processing genomen. Voor opnamestudio’s en consumenten is het filter ook los verkrijgbaar. Sound Audio Processing werkt vanuit de Ideeënfabriek, bedrijfsverzamelgebouw van creatieve ondernemers in Uden, Liessentstraat 9a.

Stereo Tool audio processing software version 11 is here — and it's the loudest, cleanest audio processor we have created!

It was a great Broadcast Asia and thank you to everyone who stopped by. We found more MicroMPX signs from our friends at Deva (decoders) and Kokusai Denki. MicroMPX makes life so much easier for broadcasters and saves money!
