Remotely monitor what is happening on the Modu-tool. By linking the Modu-tool to the Modu-connect, you can remotely assist the lift mechanic. This makes it easier to support a mechanic. Every day is a day you can learn from. At Modusystem we are very pleased that the training courses have started again. During this training Erik will teach you how to use the Modu-tool optimally in order to carry out lift maintenance even more efficiently. All ins and outs of the Modu-tool will be discussed and you will get the opportunity to practice in our training centre. This way, you can immediately apply the theory you have learned in practice.

The first Modu-tool update of 2021 is available as of today!
V59 kicks off with a lot of new features with the Modu-tool.

The Schindler Bionic has gained the most new features in this first update. For example, requesting the total system information on the lift, resetting the SDIC, requesting the SCPU version but also, for example, reading out the carlight sensor. All this combined with a new, more convenient layout.

Another new feature is that the Modu-tool can now support the connection of the Modu-view, which makes connecting the Modu-view even easier.

Besides the update for Schindler Bionic, there are also new features for the Kone LCE, a new layout for Otis and bug fixes for the Orona Arca I and Arca II. Several new pictures and error codes have also been added to the Modu-tool.

V5910 is the first update included in V59, later in 2021 more such updates will follow included in V59.

Today in our Spotlight: The Modu-prog
The Modu-prog is for unlocking Kone LCE menus with firmware 6.6 or lower. After 10.000 runs, the menu of a Kone LCE locks. Full access of the menu is required to provide high quality elevator maintenance. The Modu-prog replaces the need to purchase a KNX unit or to contact Kone for help.

Today in our spotlight: Meet the Modu-LCE 3.0

This Modu-lce 3.0 prevents a Kone LCE menu from locking again. After you’ve unlocked a Kone LCE menu, it will lock again when it has reached 10.000 runs (or 100 runs for a LCE with software higher than 6.8.7). When you attach the Modu-lce to the NVRAM of the lift, the elevator will stop counting the runs of the lift, so won’t lock again. This Modu-lce is with 28 pins
