We are looking for a new employee to join our team, residing in the Netherlands or United Kingdom, to fill the position of: 1st line support specialist
We seek a skilled, energetic, reliable and social person to be responsible for 1st line support and related work. Primary tasks include:
· Handle incoming customer support requests by telephone, e-mail and other tools
· Diagnose and resolve technical and functional issues
· Escalate complex issues to 2nd line support
· Assist with software testing, configuration, installation and upgrades
· Log and document configuration work and support incidents
· Assist customers with software usage and training
· Communicate with suppliers and third parties about technical matters
· Miscellaneous other tasks
The 1st line support specialist role would suit a recent IT graduate or person who is otherwise highly skilled with IT. Knowledge or background from the funeral profession will be advantageous but is not a requirement. This is a chance to join a successful software company at entry level, with the opportunity to develop an exciting career path in an international company. Relevant training will be provided. The work will be varied in nature and allows for hybrid and flexible work arrangements. If you reside in the Netherlands, you will work from our Dutch office (area Hoorn/Heerhugowaard) and/or from a home office. Our UK and Dutch offices are tightly integrated with each other. Your focus is taking care of the 1st line support for UK clients. When necessary you will be able to take care of 1st line support for Dutch clients as well. The position will involve occasional travelling to visit Eulogica events and offices in multiple countries. This is a unique opportunity, where the English language is very important.
