Figures from the Tillitsbarometer (Trust Barometer) by Respons Analyse, compiled over the past eight years, show that trust in social media has consistently been low over time and is now at a historic low. Only 10 percent report high trust in social media. By comparison, trust in Norwegian national media is around 60 percent, while local media reach approximately 75 percent. This highlights a fundamental truth about what actually drives advertising effectiveness. Context and credibility matter more than just impressions.

Nurofy uses this as a key starting point when developing technology across markets. Experience shows that lower trust leads to lower impact, and that the quality of the environment surrounding a message directly affects results. In a media landscape shaped by algorithms, growing volumes of AI-generated content, and increased reputational risk, both channel choice and messaging become critical.

Sindre is Nurofy’s data expert, specializing in how advertisers can combine multiple data sources with carefully selected online publishers to reach their target audiences as efficiently and precisely as possible.

With the data sources available in our technology, every client can build tailored audiences that match their specific goals. This includes cookieless data, which is becoming increasingly important for maintaining accurate targeting as the ecosystem shifts away from third-party cookies.

Yesterday started on a high note as we hosted a breakfast seminar at House 21. The room was filled with exciting companies, and on stage, Lars Mossige Øverland and Bjarte Leknes Frøyland from Nurofy shared valuable perspectives and experiences.

We also had the pleasure of welcoming Jakob Hope, our partner at Jobzone Norge, who offered insights from his point of view and how the technology has supported their work.

At Nurofy, meeting companies across a wide range of industries is one of the most valuable things we do. It’s both rewarding and inspiring to come together to discuss real challenges and explore new opportunities.

Dialogue with the industry is key to how we continue to develop both our solutions and our collaboration with customers.

This represents a significant boost to our global efforts and a valuable contribution to our work in scaling the technology internationally. So far in 2025, our platform has been used in 18 countries, and the EMNY program provides additional momentum for further expansion.
