⚠️ THE CHICKEN TAKEOVER HAS BEGUN! ⚠️

Did you know, at any one time, chickens outnumber humans by up to 10-1? This has led to some people (who, let's be honest probably aren't scientists) to worry if the chickens ever get organised then we're in trouble.

Well, perhaps their worst fears are coming true because - we're DELIGHTED to say - our lovely client Faunus Hub won the top prize Norway’s NATIONAL ENTREPRENEUR DAY, hosted by SpareBank 1 in collaboration with Validé GründerAcademy.

Faunus Hub helps firms working in hi-tech poultry farming use AI to monitor controlled environments, then collect and analyse key data around climate, temperature, feed, water, and animal health, to optimise operations.

🧠 It's REALLY clever (workers can even talk to it in multiple languages about what's going on in the farm, and Faunus Hub will record, translate and analyse that human intel too.)

But, at its heart, Faunus Hub helps poultry farmers answer the most important question: Why did this flock turn out the way it did?

And poultry is just the start. The team aims to make the service available to other parts of the farming industry ASAP.

🏆 Judges praised the scalability of Fanus Hub's solution, its international application, and the strength of the team.

So, HUGE congratulations to the team, Tom Reinert Johansen & Pia Gjertsen Prestmo.

Please feel free to steal our process for building high-quality MVPs in just two weeks.
🥷 Lots of innovators come to us worried that someone will steal their idea. We always tell them the same thing:

1️⃣ You'd be surprised - and maybe a bit sad - about how little time or interest other people have in your idea (or indeed money to spend on copying it)

💥 Apparently, SmplCo is world-class now. "WHAT?! Why? How?" you say? Well, we'll tell you.
Figma just published a case study on how we took our client Saddle from a rough idea to a live product in 2 weeks.

We are absolutely thrilled that Dr Mark Cox and the team at Orli Health won the NatWest Accelerator Pitch competition in London, securing the top prize of £70,000!

Orli is doing incredible work to put an end to the UK’s child mental health crisis, by developing emotionally an intelligent companion to support kids.

At SmplCo, we’ve had the privilege of working with Mark, Euan, Lucy, James and Karla Pretorius, the team that is the driving force behind their success.
