Last week, FourC participated in the final Positive CityxChange (+CxC) conference in Trondheim, where we got the opportunity to show our innovation results from the project to VIPs interested in solutions contributing to the green shift.

The MaaS-related Mobee app and its offsprings attracted quite some interest from the crowd, and now the work on European replication intensifies.

A consortium led by FourC was one of the few winning project applications in the latest Pilot-T mobility R&D call from the Research Council of Norway. The 𝐌𝐚𝐚𝐒𝐞𝐊𝐎𝐏𝐏 project will provide innovative MaaS solutions and huge-scale MaaS demonstrations in Vestland county and in Trondheim city.

FourC Wins Ruter Ticketing Equipment Tender

FourC has won the Ruter tender regarding ticketing equipment for up to 200 new commission sales points. The delivery includes semi-rugged tablets, printers, ticket readers, and mounting equipment.

FourC Wins AtB Tender for 800 Ticket Validators

Trondheim/Norway, June 9, 2021 --- FourC has won the AtB tender for 800 validators. The delivery of these has already taken place.

AtB is the public transport authority in Tröndelag county, in Norway. As a part of introducing a new and modern ticketing system, FourC has delivered the validators used onboard the buses. Ticketing equipment is being installed in almost all AtB buses, and the buses are to be set in production on August 7, 2021.

FourC is pleased to announce that we won the tender for the validators based on a combination of price, quality and delivery time.

FourC Announces Issuance of Patent for Passenger Flow Analysis

Trondheim/Norway, November 11, 2019 - FourC is pleased to announce that the United States Patent and Trademark Office has issued U.S. Patent No 10,311,660 entitled “Passenger Flow Determination”. The patent covers the methodology to provide passenger flow determination based on wifi sensors in vehicles and is used in the Passenger Flow Analysis (PFA) service by FourC.

Passenger Flow Analysis makes it possible to create a travel pattern without interaction with, or actions by the passenger while at the same time respecting privacy. No app is needed on the phone.

On the subject of "LEVERAGING BIG DATA FOR PUBLIC TRANSPORT PLANNING" in HALL A at 2:30 pm on Monday, our CEO Tor Rune Skoglund will hold a presentation about our research and developments in new ways for doing automatic passenger flow and counting using Wi-Fi sensors and the new Multimodal Travel Pattern Analysis R&D project.

The projects once again establish FourC as one of the most innovative ICT mobility companies in Norway.
