I don't think I have shared this before, ROBUN of SHERWOOD, as it was an concept piece for Sherwood Pet Health that for some reason stalled out. I can't remember why... but there was a reason it was put on hold.

I have done some small pieces for Sherwood over the years and at the moment looking at updating the illustrations on their bags I previously did in my early digital drawing days.This is from mid 2020.

I may try to rework this properly as it could be really fun with other amimals to join including Guinea Pigs of course =)

BATPIG v A.I. (this page will always be non-A.I. art).

Thank you as always, for the lovely comments and with Meta removing this page from recomendations, then adding again after an appeal. Some of you were correct in the comments also, that you didn't see new posts as there was none. There is 2 reasons for that lately.

1: I am just so busy with dayjob work and other projects, I actually have a few weeks long waiting list for anything new... much is traditionally drawn or painted, which in the A.I. phase is great... which brings me to point 2.

2: A.I. everywhere, from pages to stories with fake generated images to every small venue/artist using it to promote and the whole of my personal feed is A.I. every other post. This page started way before that, doing things the old fashioned Photoediting way, the way I still do it. Phjotoshop now has all these A.I. tools and some are very handy (remove objects, harmonise layers, expand images) which I use all the time. My issue is people adding a prompt, getting art in minutes and pretty much redoing what i've done. Some even use A.I. to cartoon my creations and pass them off as their own. It's honestly just made me not prioritize this page as the volume of art out there, this page is swallowed up. Suddenly every page has art and every page owner is now an "Artist". Now, A.I. is here whether we like it or not, and it is already in your life (knowingly or unkowingly) and has it's place. It's the churning out of slop art and videos that is just dperessing for the genral artist community, not just this page.

IMAGE: (LEFT) - An example, the original Batpig piece took about 90 minutes from a photo of my own Thadeus and this image created this page as the image went "viral" on pet pages.
IMAGES: (RIGHT) - 2 minutes on an A.I. generation tool with a prompt and uploading that original Thadeus picture. Don't get me wrong, the prompt was long and detailed as I knew what i wanted to accomplish. It looks great (and you can't deny it does look good), albeit with changing the pose a little and some other liberties. I just can't compete with that, as generic as it looks, it's still a great image.

I will still do parodies in the future (some very soon) with ABSOLUTELY NO A.I. ART OR IMAGES FROM PROMPTS. I knoiw many have said they prefer my pieces as they are human made, even with their janky parts sometimes and that is wonderful.

I just wanted to check in, be honest and say thank you again for all your support.

28 WHEEKS LATER: THE P**P TEMPLE
The original is still one of my favourite films this year, and the "musical" scene is absolutely legendary. As an Iron Maiden fan, it was glorious to se Ralph Fiennes rock out!

I had some rare free tiem this wheekend, so I thought it was time to tackle Moana, including the Rock's lovely realistic wig based on the live-action remake poster!

Unusually, I could not think of a Guinea Pig variation of the name so temporarily using the original film title. Any ideas, we can pick maybe the favourite from the comments.

This is frustrating and the way things are going, the first image is something I did a few years ago created from a Guinea Pig manually (and painstakingly) removed from a white background, sunglasses added and then vegetable reflections also manually added.

The cartoon version is something created by A.I. by uploading my image and "create a cartoon image of this photo". You can see it's identical even down to the reflected vegetables added by myself as well as the Guinea Pug markings.

This is happening more and more and it just is not very fun to see original creations from myself repurposed, getting views on pages (and monetized likely) and seems to be the future. Hopefully this does not end Piggie Parodied but it obviously needs some rethink. But people using A.I. to create "original versions" of my creations is "ugh".

A true 80's action icon for me, when I was growing up I wanted to be Chuck Norris, and some of my fondest memories of 80's films were watching his Cannon Films output (Invasion USA, Missing in Action etc.). Even after his movie career fizzled out, he became an iconic TV character... hence my tribute of that part.
