Vi har hørt om hacking i nyhetene ganske ofte de siste årene. Før var det større bedrifter som ble hacket. Nå er er trusselen på de mindre bedriftene også. Vi oppbevarer mye data som feks kunder, ordrer, leverandører osv. Dette er data vi ikke tenker på, men ligger i systemet. Hva ville det betydd for din bedrift om disse dataene ble sperret og du ble krevd løs penger for å få disse tilbake igjen?

This weekend, we sponsored and helped organize FLYING.LAN in Vikersund. The event gathered more than 200 kids who were served a top-tier internet connection, free food, drinks, and candy the whole weekend! Some say that the best thing about Las Vegas is leaving, and while we might not fully agree with that, it sure is nice getting back to Norway! 🇳🇴 Trainings at BlackHat, parties and meetups with tons of different companies, BSides Las Vegas, and last but not least a great DEFCON #30 has left us with a ton of inspiration, knowledge and new connections! We can’t wait to start utilizing our newfound abilities to pentest our clients!

This Friday, four of our consultants will be traveling to Las Vegas for the annual hacker summer camp!
First out is Black Hat Events for trainings, then BSides Las Vegas and DEFCON Hacking Conference!

At BlackHat, Vetle Økland Hjelle will be taking the “Astute AWS/Azure/GCP Cloud Red Team: It's Raining Shells!” training by Stage 2 Security, Geir Eklund will attend “Advanced Infrastructure Hacking” by Notsosecure, Martin Ingesen is excited for “Adversary Tactics - Vulnerability Research for Operators” by SpecterOps and “Attacking the Application Supply-Chain” by we45, and finally Odd Andre Vatne will be doing the “Advanced Threat Emulation: Evasion” training by BC Security.

We are excited to be learning from some of the best in the industry, and know that the new knowledge will up our game when we face new customer environments in the near future!

At the end of August, our founder Martin Ingesen will be presenting "From Hash to Cash - an introduction to password cracking" at Sikkerhetsfestivalen in Lillehammer.

As part of the daily work of conducting security tests, cracking password hashes is an inevitable fact. But how do you do this most effectively? Which methods work best, and which hardware do you need? Martin has spent a lot of time digging into the depth of this topic and wants to share what he has learned.

We are excited to attend ISF Sikkerhetsfestivalen, and hope to see you there!
