पेटसँग सम्बन्धित नयाँ औषधि भोनोप्राजन अब नेपाली बजारमा :

एसिडसँग सम्बन्धित रोगहरू जस्तै erosive esophagitis तथा H. pylori संक्रमणको उपचारमा प्रयोग गरिने भोनोप्राजन नामक औषधि अब छिट्टै नेपालमा प्रयोग गरिने भएको छ। औषधि सल्लाहकार समितिको ५८ औं बैठकले उक्त औषधि नेपालमा प्रयोग गर्न दिने निर्णय गरेको हो। सन् २०२३ मा नेपाली औषधि कम्पनी वायोगेन रेमेडीज प्रा लि ले यस औषधि उत्पादन गर्न निवेदन गरेको तिन वर्ष पश्चात औषधि व्यवस्था विभागले हालै उत्पादनको निम्ति अनुमोदन गरेको हो।

परम्परागत PPIs भन्दा फरक, Vonoprazan छिटो काम गर्ने, दीर्घकालीन रूपमा एसिड नियन्त्रण गर्ने र खाना खाने समयसँग निर्भर नहुने विशेषता राख्दछ।

विभिन्न अध्ययनहरू अनुसार यसले erosive esophagitis मा उच्च निको हुने दर देखाएको छ। साथै, PPI ले काम नगरेका बिरामीहरूमा पनि लक्षण सुधार गर्न सफल भएको छ।

H. pylori को उपचारमा पनि Vonoprazan आधारित थेरापी परम्परागत PPI आधारित उपचारभन्दा बढी सफल देखिएको छ। विशेषगरी antibiotic-resistant अवस्थाहरूमा यसको प्रभावकारिता अझ बढी देखिएको छ।
