सरकारले ल्याउँदै सित्तैमा चलाउन मिल्ने ई-बिलिङ सफ्टवेयर

​सरकारले कर प्रणालीलाई पूर्ण रूपमा डिजिटलाइजेसन गर्न र साना व्यवसायीलाई राहत दिन आफ्नै ई-बिलिङ सफ्टवेयर निर्माण गर्ने भएको छ। आगामी आर्थिक वर्षको बजेटमार्फत अर्थ मन्त्रालयले यसको घोषणा गर्दैछ।

​मुख्य बुँदाहरू:
​निःशुल्क र मोबाइल एप सुविधा: साना व्यवसायीहरूले हाल सफ्टवेयर किन्न र नवीकरण गर्न बर्षेनी तिर्नुपर्ने २० देखि ५० हजार रुपैयाँ बचत हुनेछ। यो सफ्टवेयर मोबाइल एपमार्फत सजिलै चलाउन र बिल काट्न सकिनेछ।

​कर चुहावट र डेटा दुरुपयोगमा रोक: हाल निजी भेण्डरका सफ्टवेयर प्रयोग गर्दा ब्याकडोरबाट बिल बदल्ने वा डेटा तोडमरोड हुने जोखिम थियो। अब सबै डेटा सिधै सरकारी सर्भर (केन्द्रीय बिजक अनुगमन प्रणाली - CBMS) मा जोडिने भएकाले राजस्व चुहावट नियन्त्रण हुनेछ।

​एकै रूपको प्रणाली र सहज अनुगमन: देशभर एउटै ढाँचाको बिलिङ प्रणाली लागू हुँदा कर अधिकृतहरूलाई अनुगमन र अडिट गर्न सहज हुनेछ भने करका दरहरू परिवर्तन हुँदा एकैपटक अपडेट गर्न सकिनेछ।

​पृष्ठभूमि: सरकारले आर्थिक वर्ष २०७४/७५ देखि ठूला करदाताहरूका लागि ई-बिलिङ अनिवार्य गर्दै आएको थियो। हालै (गत वैशाख ३ गते) वार्षिक २० करोड रुपैयाँभन्दा बढी कारोबार गर्नेहरूलाई रियल-टाइम बिलिङ अनिवार्य गरिएकोमा, अब साना व्यवसायीलाई पनि प्रविधिको पहुँचमा ल्याउन यो कदम चालिएको हो।

Nepal Introduces Digital Fare Payment System in Public Transport

Nepal’s public transportation sector is moving toward digital payments with the launch of a smart card and digital fare payment system by FinTech International Pvt. Ltd.

Under the new system, passengers must “Tap In” by touching their smart card to a validator machine when boarding a bus. Upon reaching their destination, they must “Tap Out” by scanning the card again, allowing the system to charge fares based only on the actual distance traveled.

According to the company, fare rates for each route are preloaded into the system. When passengers board, the maximum fare amount is temporarily held, and after they tap out, the actual fare based on travel distance is deducted while the remaining balance is refunded to the card.

In addition to physical smart cards, passengers will also be able to pay through a mobile app using QR code scanning. The company stated that an offline QR payment system has been developed, enabling payments even without internet access.

To prevent misuse of student discounts, the company plans to collaborate with colleges to issue personalized cards that will function both as a student ID card and a transportation payment card.

Transport operators will have access to a dedicated web portal, allowing them to monitor their vehicles’ daily earnings. Fare payments collected from passengers will be transferred to vehicle owners’ bank accounts or digital wallets the following day under a T+1 settlement system.

Currently, the system has been introduced in 39 buses operating on the Nepal Engineering College route under Riddhisiddhi Transport. Agreements have also been signed with Nepal National Public Transport and Machhe Capital Transport for future implementation.

Google Health आयो, तर धेरै प्रयोगकर्ताले पुरानै Fitbit एप फर्काउन माग गरे

गुगलले आफ्नो नयाँ “Google Health” प्लेटफर्म सार्वजनिक गरेपछि धेरै Fitbit प्रयोगकर्ताले पुरानो Fitbit एप नै राम्रो रहेको प्रतिक्रिया दिएका छन्। नयाँ एपलाई एआई-आधारित स्वास्थ्य कोचिङ अनुभवमा केन्द्रित बनाइएको भए पनि प्रयोगकर्ताहरूले डिजाइन, नेभिगेसन र फिचरहरूबारे गुनासो गरेका छन्।

गुगलले Fitbit एपलाई प्रतिस्थापन गर्दै “Google Health” ल्याएको हो। नयाँ एपमा AI Health Coach, स्वास्थ्य अपडेट र नयाँ होमस्क्रिन डिजाइन समावेश गरिएको छ। कम्पनीका अनुसार यसले व्यक्तिगत स्वास्थ्य सुझाव, व्यायाम योजना र स्वास्थ्य निगरानीलाई अझ स्मार्ट बनाउने लक्ष्य राखेको छ।

तर, प्रयोगकर्ताहरूको प्रतिक्रिया भने मिश्रित देखिएको छ। धेरैले नयाँ एपको होमस्क्रिन कम कस्टमाइज गर्न मिल्ने, अनावश्यक रूपमा जटिल र तथ्यांक हेर्न असहज भएको बताएका छन्। विशेषगरी, पहिले सजिलै देखिने फिटनेस र स्वास्थ्य तथ्यांक अहिले एआई सुझाव र अतिरिक्त टेक्स्टले ढाकिएको गुनासो गरिएको छ।

यसबाहेक, पुरानो Fitbit एपमा सजिलै उपलब्ध हुने वर्कआउट लग, पुराना गतिविधि डेटा तथा केही लोकप्रिय फिचरहरूमा पहुँच कठिन भएको भन्दै प्रयोगकर्ताले असन्तुष्टि जनाएका छन्। केही प्रयोगकर्ताले सामाजिक तथा गेमिफिकेसनसम्बन्धी सुविधाहरू हराउँदै गएकोमा पनि चिन्ता व्यक्त गरेका छन्।

यद्यपि, केही प्रयोगकर्ताले नयाँ एआई कोचको व्यक्तिगत सुझाव र स्वास्थ्य ट्र्याकिङ क्षमताको प्रशंसा गरेका छन्। गुगलले पनि भविष्यका अपडेटमा थप कस्टमाइजेसन, कम “chatty” एआई अनुभव र हराइरहेका केही फिचरहरू थप्ने संकेत दिएको छ।

Google Health को आगमनसँगै स्वास्थ्य ट्र्याकिङ क्षेत्रमा एआईको भूमिका बढेको देखिए पनि, धेरै प्रयोगकर्ताले भने एउटा स्पष्ट सन्देश दिएका छन् — **“हामीलाई पुरानै Fitbit अनुभव चाहिन्छ।”**
