In the last 11 months, Thoplo Machine Pvt. Ltd. has installed 101 IoT-enabled devices across 47 different firms.

Not just in presentations.
Not just in demos.
But in farms, greenhouses, cold rooms, nurseries, irrigation systems, and control panels where people actually depend on it every day.

For us, this is more than just a number. Each device is working in a real site — from farms and greenhouses to cold rooms, irrigation systems, and automation panels.

Every installation helped us learn and build better systems for Nepali working conditions.

बागबानी विकास केन्द्र, पाँचखालमा स्मार्ट खेतीको अभ्यास

थोप्लो मेसिन प्रा. लि. द्वारा IoT-enabled Automatic Sensor-Based Fertigation System सफलतापूर्वक जडान गरिएको छ।

यस प्रणालीले वास्तविक फिल्ड अवस्थाका आधारमा सिंचाइ, फर्टिगेशन, फ्यान र फोगर नियन्त्रण गर्न सहयोग गर्छ। IoT सुविधा भएकाले प्रयोगकर्ताले प्रणालीको डाटा टाढाबाट पनि हेर्न सक्नुहुन्छ र सेन्सर रिडिङको आधारमा राम्रो निर्णय लिन सक्नुहुन्छ।

A simple upgrade, but a meaningful step toward better drying and stronger local value addition.
A few days ago, we had the opportunity to upgrade a dryer unit at Galdha Social Entrepreneur Women’s Cooperative Ltd. in Nisdi Rural Municipality. It was meaningful for us to contribute to a women-led cooperative promoted by Heifer Nepal.

Previously, the dryer was not performing effectively because the structure was not properly sealed, the airflow was not well managed, and the system depended heavily on manual operation. Because of this, the drying process was not as reliable as it should have been.

In this upgrade, we improved the top covering, made the structure better sealed, arranged a proper air inlet and outlet path, and also added support for night-time and high-humidity operation.

Now, the dryer is much more practical, controlled, and effective. We are happy to contribute in a small way to making the cooperative’s work more reliable and efficient.

Our Soil Station is now in use at NARC Horticulture with the team led by Dr. Ranjana Rawal.
This handy, portable, battery-powered device is being used in different experiments such as drought stress, irrigation levels and fertigation. With multiple soil sensors, it can quickly show and log soil temperature, VWC (moisture %) and EC, making it easier for researchers to see how crops react when they get more or less water.
Tools like this help turn field experiments into clear, data-based decisions, which ultimately support better recommendations for farmers in Nepal.

We just wrapped up an engaging hands-on “Workplace Electrical Safety” session with the technical team of the Federal Parliament Secretariat at Dhulikhel Lodge Resort. The program was organized by the Secretariat with support from UNDP.

A big shoutout to all participants for their energy, curiosity, and commitment to making workplaces safer.

Grateful to have our CEO, Krishna Keshav Chaudhary, lead the workshop alongside Bishal Bhetwal Sir.

3-Day Training on Irrigation & Fertigation – Successfully Completed!

We’re thrilled to share that Thoplo Machine Pvt. Ltd. recently conducted a 3-day hands-on training on Irrigation and Fertigation, organized by the Agriculture Development Office, Kavre.

More than 20 enthusiastic farmers participated and learned how to: ✅ Optimize water and nutrient use
✅ Implement sensor-based irrigation systems
✅ Automate fertigation for better yield and efficiency

The training was led by our very own instructor, Krishna Keshav Chaudhary, who shared real-world techniques and best practices for modern farming.

We thank all the participants and the organizing team for making this training a success. Together, we’re moving one step closer to smarter, more sustainable agriculture in Nepal!
