Day 4 of handing over the QR story board
As part of Saarangâs QR Storytelling & Heritage Mapping initiative, in collaboration with the Pokhara Tourism Council (PTC), we continue to support the digitalization of tourism by making local heritage more accessible, informative, and visitor-friendly.
đ Shree Harihar Gufa Sanyas Ashram, Bhalam (Pokharaâ20)
The QR Storytelling board at Shree Harihar Gufa Sanyas Ashram was handed over by the Chairperson of Pokhara Tourism Council (PTC) and the Co-founder of Saarang to the local Ashram community. Visitors can now scan the QR code to explore brief and meaningful stories in five languagesâNepali, English, Hindi, Chinese, and French, with text available in 11 languages, enhancing understanding for both local and international visitors.
đ Kabi Shiromani Lekhnath Memorial Museum, Archale, Pokhara
At the Kabi Shiromani Lekhnath Memorial Museum, the QR Storytelling board was installed as part of the same initiative, offering visitors easy access to the life, work, and legacy of Kabi Shiromani Lekhnath through digital storytelling. The stories are available in five languages, with extended text support in 11 languages, helping preserve literary and cultural heritage in an accessible format.
đ Ram Mandir, Birauta
At Ram Mandir, Birauta, the QR Storytelling board allows visitors to learn about the templeâs history and cultural significance through six languages: Nepali, English, Hindi, Chinese, French, and German. This digital access supports better visitor experience and meaningful engagement with local heritage.
Through these QR boards, Saarang and PTC aim to enhance visitor experience, promote sustainable tourism, and make Nepalâs rich cultural heritage more accessible to travelers from around the world.
