What is Change Management?
Often the team at Changesoup are asked what is change management? Change management can be many things to many people, however to keep this simple; I like to look it as how you approach dealing with transition or change in a physical, technological and or human environment. This can involve technologies, processes and goals of an individual, team or organization. Plans should be formulated and strategies implemented to help people adapt to change and more importantly control the change. Procedures and resources are included in the strategic plan to align with change requests. Change requests are submitted when an identified change has been acknowledged and steps needed to action on a given time and date. Tasks are also used to follow up on the changes and respond to the requests.
Change management is what most organized businesses should use to manage, prepare, equip and support staff to successfully adopt and adapt to change in order to drive success. Providing staff with structured approaches for supporting change is important as not understanding why the changes have taken place can be problematic. Changes may very well be different for each organization due to the nature of the culture and environment, however the basic to complex needs are the same and that is to have a solid Change management structure in place. This is where Changesoup can help, it is a well thought through methodology at its very core yet has standalone modules that allow for complete flexibility on how you can manage change. whether your a team of 3 or thousands get organized with Changesoup, let us show you how.
