Staging complete for this lovely home in Onehunga. Instead of paying for staging furniture, that would disappear at sale time, we worked with the client to buy necessary items that would enhance each space and then be used in their new house.

Each room was carefully analysed into what needed to stay and what needed to go. Moodboards of each room included pricing of various selected items so the client could work towards a budget that suited them.

It's been a wonderful journey getting this regenerative design event off the ground. What was a four month project and one event turned into 14 months and six events with a whole lot of learning along the way. This included some 4am starts to learn from some of the worlds leaders in the regenerative design space.

I knew very little about regenerative design when I started. I now understand it's positive potential for our future - a future that looks better, feels better, functions better, is healthier and most importantly allows both nature and humans to thrive. 🌿🌏💥

Stream is a project that has been recognised on the world stage. It brought iwi together with Auckland Council to regenerate the Puhinui area bordering Manurewa and Manukau. Te Whakaoranga o te Puhinui won an ‘Outstanding Award’ in the Unbuilt Parks and Environment category of the Asia Pacific International Federation of Landscape Architects awards. It was also part of a showcase at COP26.

The project has been praised for the way it integrated ecological planning and design strategies with indigenous narratives, its impressive design quality, its planning processes and innovative design guidelines.

Its an honor to be working for Whakaora - Our Thriving City at the moment. Whakaora is all about Regenerative Design with lots of useful info online and events that will be held online and in person. The first event got off to a great start last night - two more exicintg events in the pipeline and more to come.

Regenerative Design thinking is such a wonderfully positive thing to focus on at the moment, and it includes things we can all work on to create thriving comminities and cities.
