Last weekend, part of the C‑Tech Spain team took part in the Castellón Companies Race organised by the Cámara de Comercio de Castellón.
A great morning of sport, teamwork and good energy, values that reflect how we work together every day.

Always good to see our masts out on the water and even better when customers share how they’re going ⛵

This OK mast recently headed over to Sydney, with some great feedback and photos of the set up straight out of the bag. A soft setup, closely matched to the sailor’s current mast, with just a small adjustment in rake to keep leech tension consistent and fine-tune performance.

It’s a nice example of how small changes in setup can make a real difference, and how we work with sailors to get the most out of their rig.

Tim Willetts has spent decades on the water something that shows in the way he approaches his work at C-Tech ⚓

A long-time sailor (most recently in the Zephyr class) and keen fisherman, Tim brings practical, real-world experience, backed by a strong understanding of performance, durability, design, and composites.

Recently featured in Boating Magazine, Tim shared the story of his boat Avanti — a Genesis 320 launched in 1998. As the second owner, he’s carried out a considered refit, repowering with twin Hyundai SeasAll R200S diesels to replace the original engines and keep her performing for years to come! 🔧

A special congratulations to Chathuranga for receiving the Outstanding Composite Graduate Award too, a well-deserved recognition of his enthusiasm, hard work, and growth.

C-Tech has officially transitioned to CATIA on Dassault Systèmes 3DEXPERIENCE platform a major upgrade in how we design, analyse and manage advanced composite structures.

Thanks to the team at Dassault Systèmes and Invenio, Sam Sanders for supporting the initial setup and implementation.

Key impact:
• Integrated composite laminate definition + simulation
• Earlier-stage optimisation through embedded analysis
• Faster design–analyse–iterate cycles
• Unified CAD, simulation and production data model

This foundational investment strengthens both current performance and long-term capability as projects become more complex and globally distributed.
