Vacancy - ICT FIELD SUPPORT TECHNICIAN
We specialize in ICT Data Network and Fibre Optic installation for commercial and residential customers.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities;-
# Working at Commercial and residential
sites at various locations
# Planning, designing, development and
support fibre network infrastructure
# Network Cabling installation
# Termination of fibre connection, splicing
and fusing fibre connections
# Installing new devices and equipment’s
Wi-Fi, Internet devices and products
# Installation of ONT devices and power
supplies
# Installing routers, switches, ADSL and
VDSL Modems and configuration
# Fault Diagnostics, troubleshooting and
resolving technical issues
# Following procedures and guidelines
# Maintain quality standard and network
performance monitor and review
# Technical information, advising and
communication with customers
# Liaison with Chorus team members, other
contractors and vendors and other
resources to fulfill technical requirements
# Optimum Usage of Inventory and
instruments and equipment and
accountability
# Work as a Team Lead and independently
as per requirement.
It is essential to have the following to be considered for the role;-
# Current first aid certificate
# Current STMS1
# WTC (1 and 3 necessary) certificates
At least Minimum 2 years experiance in Fibre :-
