In the beginning, there were books. On the 8th day, Al Gore created the Internet. And it was great. Hang on, that doesn't sound right. Well actually, the story isn't quite as simple as that, but what we have ended up with is just about as magical as if it had been created by a higher being. The internet actually started out as ARPANET, a single connection between computers
at UCLA and Stanford on October 29, 1969, and has it has gone from strength to strength since then. We'd go so far as to say that the Internet has changed the world forever. You now have access to several billion pages of information at the touch of a few buttons, in fact you can even earn a perfectly legitimate bachelor’s degree without ever leaving your house these days. Here at Xava, we're very passionate about technology in general. We absolutely love the stuff! Most people would probably consider us "nerds" or "geeks', we agree. Although those terms have typically been used in a derogatory way, times have changed, they are now just terms that describe an ever increasing segment of the population. We do a lot of geeky stuff here, but one of the things we are most passionate about is web-based technologies, design in particular. In 2006, while at University as an adult student (studying for a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechatronic Engineering), our principal began toying with web design and development as a hobby. His interest was sparked by the literally unlimited potential of the technology. From there he continued to follow his interests, hone his skills and develop his passion for beautiful web design and development. Once he graduated, our principal decided to follow his new found passion and build a business based on his passion, and so Xava was formed. Xava Digital
