Introducing the new look for the Hikaroroa Mt Watkin Conservation Group
This project was all about creating a logo that felt simple, modern, and instantly recognisable — while still capturing the heart of what the group represents.
The brief called for a clean, eye-catching mark that reflected the natural essence of Hikaroroa / Mt Watkin through forms inspired by the landscape and native birdlife.
The final direction combines abstract mountain silhouettes with a flowing river and colour inspired by nature. It's easy to recognise across signage, apparel, digital platforms, and community initiatives.
A meaningful project to work on and a privilege to help visually represent a group dedicated to protecting and celebrating this special environment. 🌱
