With Anzac Day falling on a Saturday this year, this means that Monday 27th April can be mondayised.
Follow the chart below to identify what your team members are entitled to this Anzac Day:

With Easter coming up this week (Friday 10/04 - Monday 13/04), don't forget to check that your team use the right timesheet codes. Please note, only Good Friday and Easter Monday are public holidays. Easter Sunday is not a public holiday.

To make it easy, there are on 3 codes your team can use:
1. SH - Statutory Holiday Observed: When your team member takes a normal working day off due to the public holiday (they will receive their normal daily pay on this day)
2. SHW - Statutory Holiday Worked: When your team member works on a public holiday (they will receive time and a half and a day in lieu)
3. RTO - Rostered Time Off: Used on a public holiday when it is their normal rostered day off

All other codes such as GEN, Annual Leave, Sick Leave, Bereavement Leave, etc. cannot be used on these days.

IRD Shutdown Period 2020

Just a reminder that between 3pm Thursday 09 April 2020 and 8am Thursday 16 April, the IRD will be closed. This means their call centres, myIR, and customer service counters in all of their offices will be closed between this time. As these dates fall over the Easter period, this means that the IRD is only closed for two working days.

If you try to file, refile, or delete any returns within TimeSmart, you will not be able to do so successfully until the IRD is live again (after 8am on Thursday 16 April). You will also be unable to successfully submit any team member details to the IRD within this timeframe.
