Quiet Interval.

A few minutes between customers.
A newspaper folded open like a familiar ritual.

I imagined him stealing a small pocket of stillness in the middle of the day, catching up on the morning headlines before stepping back into the rhythm of work.

This was a quick sketch. No overthinking. No polishing. Just my Apple Pencil finding its way.

There’s something grounding about drawing ordinary moments. The kind that usually pass unnoticed, but hold a quiet weight of their own.

Drawn in Procreate with the ‘Oriental Inker’ , along with the background watercolour stamp, both from my Inkredible brush set. Other Watercolour accents are from the OMG Watercolour Brush set. Both available on my website.

Headphones on. World off. . 🎧 🎶🎵

I loved this pose, someone quietly disappearing into their own little universe, sketching or scribbling away while time politely waits its turn.

This one pushed me out of my tidy, overthinking habits. Fewer details, and letting the lines wander free.

I keep wondering what he’s writing or drawing in that book 😅, I’ll leave it to your imagination.

Some moments aren’t meant to be explained, just noticed.

Hi my creative comrades 👋🏼
Currently attempting to loosen my lines and not fuss over every tiny detail…
Which, for a recovering perfectionist, feels a bit like asking a squirrel to chill 😅

This piece is me practicing restraint. Fewer lines, more light and shadow, and resisting the urge to tidy everything within an inch of its life. Letting suggestion do the heavy lifting and trusting your imagination to fill in the gaps.

It’s uncomfortable. It’s messy. And honestly… that’s kind of the point.😅

Practising imperfection, one line at a time.😄

🌸 A little loose, a little splashy, and officially proof I’m still alive 😅

I finally carved out an hour today and hopped back into Procreate for a bit of creative play. My mojo’s been on a mysterious holiday lately — probably sunning itself somewhere with a cocktail. But I told myself, just sit down and make something… anything.

So here we are: a washy, wander-y floral moment using my Scratchy Liner, Bloomscape brush, and a couple of watercolor stamps from the OMG Watercolour brush set.
Not perfect… but perfectly me today.

If your mojo’s been missing too, this is your reminder: open the app, splash some colour around, and let whatever happens… happen.🌿✨
