Unfortunately, our household has been hit pretty hard with the flu, so we’re taking a short break from accepting new repairs for the next couple of days while we rest and recover.

We appreciate everyone’s patience and understanding. ❤️

🚨 Scam Warning – Please Share

We received a phone call today from someone claiming to be from the Police Cybercrime Unit. Their caller ID displayed as "Kerikeri Police Station", but caller ID can be spoofed, so don't assume a caller is genuine just because of the name or number shown.

I knew from the beginning it was a scam, so I stayed on the phone to waste the scammer's time and record the conversation. Once he realised I wasn't falling for it, he became abusive and told me to "get two fingers and stick them where the sun doesn't shine!" 🤣🤣🤣

These scammers are extremely convincing and professional. Never provide passwords, PINs, bank details, one-time verification codes, or remote access to your phone or computer over the phone.

If you're ever unsure, hang up and contact the organisation directly using their official published phone number.

Just a reminder that there are evil and dishonest people out there who prey on others. Please stay vigilant, question unexpected calls, and never feel pressured into giving out personal or financial information. A few moments of caution could save you from becoming a victim. Stay safe everyone. ❤️
