Kōtare in progress ✨

It has been some time since I got the tubes of paint out and ended up completely transfixed with blending colour. This Kingfisher (Kōtare) wanted to make an entrance for the new year and I’m hoping to finish it soon!

The Kingfisher in spiritual symbolism has connotations of good fortune, peace, joy and pleasure and acts as a reminder to move out of your comfort zone. Good vibes to take into 2023.
