Kia ora Monkey Majic Solutions and Breviss Wolfgramm,
Thank you so much for the invitation to one of your recent Te Tiriti o Waitangi workshops. To be honest I didn't actually know what I was going to be attending for 6 hours of my day, but I was open minded to listen and learn.
All I can say is that my mind was open to so many aspects of where and who I am as a person, business owner and how Te Tiriti can truly play a major part in my life, aspirations and leadership in business.
The presentation was well presented by your team, professional, clear, precise and with alot of humour which is always good. The manaakitanga within the group across the broad with all different cultures and leadership roles within Aotearoa was a sense of feeling I can not say I have ever felt before in a workshop.
One part that stood out for me was a statement that said "Maori and Pakeha have often been talking past each other. In every step of the relationship has been the possibility of misunderstanding and confusion, quite apart from anything more blameworthy.
This is so true and there is so much misunderstanding throughout history and Te Tiriti needs to be reinforced more clearer to bring our nation closer together and this can be accomplished through leadership in all organisations.
