Meet Alla! 💁♀️
Business Researcher and Software Engineer at Legend
"In 1993 I moved from a beautiful hot summers and snowy winters sea-side city of Odessa (Ukraine) to a charming windy sea-side capital of New Zealand Wellington. Even though Wellington takes its name from a man Arthur Wellesley, the first Duke of Wellington, both Odessa and Wellington are "she", "mama" maternal cities accepting, embracing and supporting their children as well as newcomers from all sides of the world.
Personally I knew Wellington was meant for me when I learnt that in Maori its name is Te Whanganui-Tara "the great harbour of Tara" seeing that my maiden name is Tarasul...
Half a life time later it definitely feels a like second home. I matured here, had my two children and eventually after a long search for the right place to work for joined I-lign technology solutions ... That was nearly 14 years ago. I have to say it went by as one fleeting moment...Was too busy bringing up family, making friends in and outside of workplace and working on the product that we are about to launch now called LEGEND. LEGEND is software platform : "digital organisation" in its entirety. To me though it is also my personal statement on how 21st century companies should function and operate.
You see, even though I am a software engineer by trade the last thing I want is to be boxed up as such. I feel that people are so much more than their "titles" and functions they perform and untapped organisation potential lies in realization of what talents, skills and ideas a company has in its people and how it can be translated in live actions. I want to see LEGEND succeed internationally in our fast changing, different, past pandemic world to enable the transformation of old bureaucratic, paper based, "traditional" establishment to a truly agile, more fair and inspirational working community of people across the borders".
