Explore one of our digital marketing campaigns for Q Mastercard. From static adverts to short animations, our designs seamlessly integrate across various media placements, including interscrollers, desktop takeovers, and website skins. In addition, we created internal website banners and ads for a consistent user journey. Take a look!

Curiosum, a transformation-focused consulting firm, partnered with MSO Design to redefine their brand identity. The aim was to reflect their adventurous spirit and commitment to innovation. MSO Design created a dynamic visual identity and brand character, capturing Curiosum's essence through bold colors and whimsical design. The outcome is a brand that serves as a beacon of innovation, embodying Curiosum's belief in pushing boundaries and embracing curiosity to drive change beyond the expected.

Paterson Burn Optometrists, serving the Upper North Island of New Zealand, sought a digital facelift to reflect their recent rebranding efforts and community-focused values. MSO revamped their website interface, infusing it with elements of New Zealand's culture while maintaining a professional appearance. The result is a design that balances professionalism with local charm, inviting users to explore Paterson Burn's services and community commitment.

MSO was instrumental in the design and development of the Ministry of the Environment Digital Strategy. In order to fully understand the content, MSO attended workshops with key ministry stakeholders and translated their feedback and content into both printed and digital strategies for phase one.

Introducing a compelling tool that illuminates the vibrant Māori ecosystem within the Wellington region. This interactive map offers a dynamic overview of key locations in the region, categorized under Māori Business, Education, Community, and Stories.

Built within the framework of Microsoft Dynamics, with the expertise of Wellington-based GoCloud team, this cutting-edge map serves as a progressive tool commissioned by Te Matarau a Māui. Its purpose is to empower decision-makers by providing comprehensive insights into statistics and resources available to Māori in Wellington, supporting informed decision-making with the key purpose of helping Māori businesses and Whānau to thrive.

MSO Design took on the challenge of creating an interface that seamlessly integrates multiple data points while maintaining clarity and usability. The result is an intuitive space that allows for the exploration of various types of information and data, from simple geo-locations to complex datasets and dynamic storytelling.

This tool made its debut at the Annual Māori Business Symposium, held at Pīpitea Marae. It was an honour to showcase the map to leaders, industry, and passionate individuals dedicated to Māori entrepreneurship and economic advancement.

MSO worked together with Te Papa to create a highly visual summary outlining the activity and feedback gathered from their Matariki exhibitions and events.
This was the first year that Matariki was celebrated as a National holiday, so it was important for Te Papa to gain insight for future planning and funding initiatives. The goal was to create a highly visual report that reflected the data in a compelling and engaging way.

MSO was commissioned to design the Annual Report for Tupu Tonu, a crown-owned entity that was established in 2021 and focuses on building commercial assets offered by the Crown in negotiations with iwi ngā hapū o Ngāpuhi.

We used a range of colour, imagery and patterns to reflect the essence of Tupu Tonu and their intentions to establish a strong build an intergenerational investment portfolio. We have applied the colour palette was chosen to align with the harakeke flower within their logo, and contrast against the scenic imagery captured from the Hokianga Harbour to the Bay of Islands, and to Whangārei in the south which is the iwi boundary for Ngāpuhi. We also incorporated the poutama tuku tuku pattern which symbolizes advancement and growth, always striving for improvement.

At MSO, we had the opportunity of collaborating with Te Kaunihera Rata o Aotearoa /Medical Council of New Zealand to create a unique cultural identity that reflected their values and vision. Our team worked closely with the client to develop a comprehensive solution that could be applied at various levels and contexts, including a cultural narrative and a visual interpretation that aligned with the Medical Council of New Zealand's Strategic Plan.

We designed a versatile suite of assets that included the 'Te Āraihaumaru' illustration, four motifs, and a set of value icons. The 'Te Āraihaumaru' illustration tells the story of the taniwha, the Defender of Safety, who represents Te Kaunihera Rata o Aotearoa /Medical Council of New Zealand as the guardian and protector of the people. Swimming beside the reflection of Purapura Whetū in the sea of Tangaroa, the taniwha guides the people safely through, and the stars are used for navigation.

At MSO, we understand that a strong visual identity is crucial for any organisation that wants to make an impact in their industry. We're proud to have worked on this project and believe that the final result has captured the organisational cultural narrative in a unique and compelling way.
