Check out our latest video showing our Terra Firma training sim. Eight360 worked with NZ Defence Force to develop an off-road handling skills trainer for Army MHOV truck drivers.

With NOVA's full motion capability you can feel every bump, learn how the handling changes with a load on or wet conditions, and understand what it feels like to roll (and why you'd want to avoid it!)

Huge thanks to WGCDR Nathan Barrack and the Royal New Zealand Air Force No.14 Squadron for hosting us in their hangar recently to set up our NOVAs and show the Flying Training Wing how we roll!

(We even found Ohakea Airbase scenery and matching RNZAF T-6 livery for the flightsim, so good)

We also had the opportunity to check out some of their other simulators, learn more about how they turn recruits into top-gun pilots, and gawk at the historic Skyhawk aircraft they have on display on the base.

A unique experience for the Eight360 team, and a very interesting window into what our Air Force get up to.
