Over April, the team took part in Go the Distance in support of the Malaghan Institute of Medical Research a leading independent NZ charity focused on immunology and immunotherapy research .

We set ourselves two goals:
• 1,200km as our team distance
• $7,000 fundraising target

We’re incredibly proud to say we exceeded both finishing on 1,606km and raising $7,719.

Across the month, the team got involved through walking, running, biking and swimming, and it was awesome seeing everyone get behind such an important cause.

A huge thank you to everyone who donated, supported and encouraged us throughout the challenge. We were blown away by the support 💙

At GKC, we’re taking part in Go the Distance to support the Malaghan Institute of Medical Research and their work in CAR-T cell therapy research.

This cause is a personal one for our team. Over the past year, we’ve had people in and around our team impacted by blood cancers and related conditions, which has given us a real appreciation for how important ongoing research and future treatment options are.

We’re getting behind this as a team to support that work, and to help ensure more Kiwis have access to world-class treatment options here at home in the future.

As a company, GKC is proud to be backing our team with an initial donation, and we’ll be contributing further as our team takes part.

All donations made before 31 March will be matched, doubling the impact.

If you’d like to support us, we’d really appreciate it.

I'm going the distance this April to help bring life-changing CAR T-cell therapy home to New Zealand. Right now, many Kiwis with aggressive blood cancers have to travel thousands of kilometres overseas and pay enormous costs to access CAR T treatment. I’m taking on this challenge because no one sh...

Not a bad day at the office for our CEO Glen.

Invited by Cisco, Glen headed over to Melbourne for F1 and got a proper look at what goes on behind the scenes.

Safe to say there is a serious amount of tech and data driving it all.

We’re proud to sponsor the Tawa College Junior Football teams, who have had an outstanding season.

The Junior A boys battled their way to the semi-finals of their division, while the Junior B boys went all the way to their division final. To top it off, both teams competed at the inaugural RC Junior Cup at Rongotai College with the Junior A boys winning after a thrilling 1–0 game over HVHS Junior 1st XI! 🏆

At GKC, we love supporting our community, and it’s been fantastic to see these players giving their best all season. Congratulations to all the boys, and thank you to the coaches, managers, and whānau for their huge effort and support. 💙💛❤️

Yesterday we surprised our founder and CEO, Glen Patrick, with an early 50th birthday celebration at our bimonthly team meeting!

There were plenty of laughs with funny photos and stories, and Glen’s parents joined us as special guests, complete with a delicious cake from our friend Becs Stiletto Studio Cakes.

The fun carried on with a quiz night run by our very own quiz master Topher, and we even had a couple of little cuties along who made the night extra sweet with snuggles.

A huge thank you to everyone who helped make it such a memorable celebration and happiest 50th birthday to Glen for today! 🥳

We hosted our first-ever webinar today - a big step as we start making some noise in the New Zealand market.

Huge thanks to the expert speakers from Dataminr and Splunk for joining us.

A special shoutout to James for absolutely owning the host role - from podcast recommender to sounding like a professional podcaster 🎙️
A great milestone, and just the beginning.

Every couple of months, our whole team comes together - not just to align on goals and celebrate wins, but to connect as people. This time, we hit the bowling lanes after our all-hands meeting, and let’s just say… things got competitive in the best way.
These moments are a great reminder that behind every project, every achievement, and every goal, it’s people who make it all happen. Taking the time to celebrate that, to share a laugh, a high five, or a surprise strike helps build the kind of connections that make teams stronger.
Thanks to everyone who came out and made it such a good time. We work hard, and we absolutely deserve to have fun doing it!

We missed you Glen, Kerri, Tash & Kimberly!
