This mornings big job was replacing the faulty ACM (Audio Control Module) in 2016 Ford Ranger.

This is becoming a very common fault, it might start out as an occasional static sound coming from your speakers, which eventually leads to No sound at all 😞

This was a really nice install from yesterday.
Kicker KS Series component speakers with the full door sound treatment, all this extra work not only reduces Road noise, but also increases the midbass response significantly.
The owner wants to add a small Subwoofer in the future, but even without the sub, this sounded awesome 🔊🔊

The head unit of choice was the Kenwood DMX723, this is a Toyota specific unit with Wireless CarPlay and Android Auto, its the perfect fit for many models of Toyota
