Had a clients old (very old) Thinkpad laptop that was displaying a fan error.
This error stops you from using a defective or clogged fan as otherwise you can essentially fry your device in minutes!

I was hoping that a clean of the filter using rubbing alcohol & canned air would be sufficient but unfortunately the patient required a fan transplant and at this stage of its life I had to respect its DNR and not attempt any life saving measures..

RIP Thinkpad. May your OS now fly free 🧟‍♂️
