Day 2 – Sultan Haitham City Training Session

Today marked Day 2 of the training program at the Sultan Haitham City with the teams from the Ministry of Housing & Urban Planning (MOHUP) and Sultan Haitham City (SHC). Building on the foundation of ISO 19650 and BIM Management from Day 1, the second day focused on hands-on application, advanced workflows, and collaborative project delivery to strengthen participants’ ability to lead digital transformation in construction.

🔹 Training Focus Areas for Day 2
1. Common Data Environment (CDE)
2. BIM Ex*****on Plans (BEP)
3. Software Integration & Workflows
4. Project Lifecycle Information Management

🔹 Key Learning Outcomes
By the end of Day 2, participants were able to:
Confidently configure and manage a CDE for real-world projects.
Draft and implement BIM Ex*****on Plans tailored to project needs.
Perform clash detection and coordinate models using integrated software. Understand the importance of structured data for operations and asset management. Managing data from design to construction and handover. Asset Information Models (AIM) for facility management and operations.Long-term benefits of digital asset delivery for sustainability and efficiency.
