From great to even better!

This build came back for a worthy upgrade—replacing the Micro Precision 5.8 with the 7.8 midrange. The improvement is immediately noticeable: fuller body, better dynamics, and an even more lifelike presentation.

We also rebuilt the A-pillars to comply with the EMMA 4 cm rule, keeping everything competition-ready without compromising craftsmanship.

Every revision is another step closer to perfection.

Another project completed for a repeat client who first found us through a referral. Thank you once again, Sir, for your continued trust—we’re already looking forward to the next one!

This Honda CR-V received a clean, OEM-style upgrade featuring Crescendo Revolution 5S2 for the front and Revolution 1S2 for the rear, with the doors treated using Vibrofiltr 2.3mm damping for a quieter, more solid foundation.

Powering the system is a Helix Amplify 206 DSP, while a Helix Amplify 201 Direct drives the Focal 20FSE, neatly integrated into the factory subwoofer enclosure, which was also dampened with Vibrofiltr 2.3mm for improved performance.

Since this CR-V came equipped with the factory Bose system, we carefully de-equalized the OEM signal and stitched together the factory crossover outputs to restore a full-range signal before tuning. The result is a system that sounds natural, dynamic, and genuinely enjoyable—without compromising the factory look.

A referral is more than just a recommendation—it’s a vote of confidence. We’re truly grateful that our clients continue to trust us and share their SimpleSound experience with others. That’s why every installation we do is treated with the same care and attention as if it were our own.

This Toyota LC300 is a perfect example.

The front stage features Micro Precision 7.28, 5.8, and 7.16, while the rear utilizes Micro Precision 5.28 and 5.16 with the 5 Series crossover. Everything remains in the factory locations, preserving the elegant OEM appearance while delivering a dramatic improvement in sound quality. The doors are fully treated with CTK Standard Pro to provide a solid acoustic foundation.

For the low frequencies, we retained the factory enclosure, reinforced it with CTK Standard Pro, and installed a Focal 20FSE 8-inch subwoofer. The result is clean, controlled bass that blends seamlessly with the rest of the system.

At the heart of the setup is the new Helix NEXT V-EIGHT DSP Ultimate, processing and powering the entire Micro Precision speaker system. A Crescendo Revolution 5A1 is dedicated to driving the Focal subwoofer with authority.

What makes the LC300 particularly challenging is its factory audio architecture. Toyota already applies extensive signal processing—crossovers, equalization, and even time alignment—to individual speakers before the signal reaches them. Instead of fighting the system, we worked with it. By capturing all eight high-level speaker signals, we reconstructed a clean, full-range signal inside the DSP, allowing us to tune the system exactly as intended.

The end result? An OEM-looking interior with a listening experience that’s on an entirely different level.

Some of our best-built cars came back for one simple upgrade: replacing the Micro Precision 5.8 Widerange with the 7.8 Widerange.

Not because the 5.8 isn’t an exceptional driver—it absolutely is. But the 7.8 takes everything the 5.8 does so well and elevates it. Vocals have more body, instruments carry greater weight, and the overall presentation feels more dynamic, effortless, and lifelike.

It’s great to see more EV owners on the road today. One of the biggest misconceptions is that upgrading the audio system of an electric vehicle is difficult—or even impossible. The truth is, it’s very much doable. An EV’s electrical system isn’t all that different from a conventional car when it comes to installing a properly designed audio system.

This marks the fifth vehicle we’ve built for this client. Your continued trust through the years means a lot to us. Thank you for making SimpleSound part of every new ride.

This VinFast VF3 received a sound system worthy of every drive. Up front is the Focal PS 165 F3E 3-way component set, with custom A-pillars for optimal imaging, while the doors were treated with CTK Standard Pro to provide a solid acoustic foundation.

Powering the front stage in full active configuration is the Helix Amplify 206 DSP, which also sends signal to the Rainbow EL-W68A MKIII underseat subwoofer. Both were securely and rigidly mounted beneath the seats, keeping everything clean, discreet, and practical.

As always, every wire is carefully laid out, every component thoughtfully installed, and every system meticulously tuned—not just to sound good, but to make every drive more enjoyable.

Sometimes, that’s all it takes.

From a simple inquiry to leaving his Ford Everest with us for a complete audio upgrade—all because fellow members of his car club kept mentioning Simplesound. Referrals like these mean a lot to us. They remind us that doing every build with passion and attention to detail never goes unnoticed.

The goal for this Everest was simple: stealth SQ. Everything looks factory, but the moment the music starts, you’ll know it’s anything but stock.

The front stage features Focal PS 165SF, installed in the OEM locations for a clean, factory appearance. The doors were treated with CTK Standard Pro to create a solid foundation for better clarity and midbass performance.

For the low end, we used an aluminum sealed enclosure, fully dampened with CTK, housing a Focal 10-inch Slim Subwoofer—delivering tight, musical bass without sacrificing valuable cargo space.

Running the show is the Helix Amplify 206 DSP, powering the entire system in full active mode and precisely tuned to bring every note to life.

Every road trip deserves a great soundtrack. Whether it’s the daily drive or a long adventure, good music makes every journey more enjoyable. We’re honored to be a part of those moments, creating sound systems that become part of the memories made on every road.

This Toyota Hiace Grandia received a clean and purposeful upgrade, starting with the Pioneer DMH-ZS9350BT—a perfect replacement for the factory head unit, bringing modern features together with a noticeable improvement in sound quality.

For the front and rear stage, we installed Crescendo Revolution 1S2 speakers. The tweeters were tastefully integrated into the A-pillars for improved imaging while maintaining a clean, OEM-inspired finish. The doors were treated with CTK Standard Pro to reduce unwanted resonance and deliver a fuller, more controlled midbass response.

Low frequencies are handled by a compact Focal PSB200 powered subwoofer, neatly tucked beneath the rear seat for tight, musical bass without taking up valuable cabin space.

Powering the entire system is a single Crescendo Evolution 1A6, efficiently driving every speaker while remaining discreetly mounted beneath the front seat for a clean, space-saving installation.

Some projects are worth the wait.

After an extensive restoration and engine build, this special Dodge Ram 50 returned to us for the final piece of the puzzle—an audio system worthy of the effort invested in the truck.

For the front stage, we installed the Audible Physics 406, with custom door modifications to properly house the midbass drivers, while the wide-range drivers were carefully mounted on the A-pillars for improved imaging and realism.

Low-end duties are handled by a compact Focal PSB200 boxed subwoofer tucked neatly behind the seat, while a Helix Amplify 206 DSP powers and fine-tunes the entire system.

To complete the foundation, the doors, floor, firewall, and rear wall were all treated with proper sound deadening, creating a quieter cabin and allowing every detail of the music to shine.

One after another, our recent clients keep coming back with their other vehicles after experiencing what a properly built and tuned system can do. This Toyota Land Cruiser Prado marks the third vehicle we’ve had the privilege of building for this client, and we’re truly grateful for the continued trust and support.

The Prado received a full audio upgrade, starting with a Pioneer DMH-AP6650BT head unit, bringing modern connectivity through Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

The highlight of this build is the front stage: the Audible Physics Abbey Road Monitor One 3-way speaker system. The tweeters are housed in custom pillar pods for improved staging and imaging, while the midranges remain in their factory locations, carefully treated and mounted to extract their full potential. The doors were thoroughly damped using CTK Standard Pro to provide a solid acoustic foundation.

Powering and processing the system are the Helix Amplify 206 DSP and Helix Amplify 201 Direct, delivering clean power and precise tuning control.

For the low frequencies, we installed a Crescendo Revolution 110 subwoofer in an OEM-style enclosure tucked neatly into the left side panel. The enclosure area was also treated with damping materials to further enhance performance and refinement.

Professionally installed, meticulously tuned, and designed to blend seamlessly into the vehicle—proof that great sound doesn’t have to be complicated.

It’s rare for us to build a full-on “boom boom” setup, but when we do, we make sure it’s done with style.

This Toyota FJ Cruiser came in for an audio upgrade that delivers both sound quality and serious bass. We started by upgrading the head unit to a Pioneer DMH-AP6650BT, bringing modern connectivity with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

For the speakers, we kept everything looking OEM while upgrading the sound with Rainbow DL-C6.2 components up front and Rainbow SL-MD80 speakers at the rear.

Powering the system are a Helix Amplify 204 Direct and a Helix Amplify 201 Direct, providing clean and efficient amplification throughout the vehicle.

And for that “boom boom” factor, we installed a JL Audio 10W0v3 in a beautifully crafted custom ported enclosure, tucked neatly into the right side panel. Carefully designed and computed, the enclosure not only looks great but also delivers the performance this setup deserves.

How does it sound?

At normal listening levels, it’s tuned with a proper soundstage and musical balance—just like a sound quality build. But turn the volume up, and the FJ transforms into a party machine with deep, punchy bass that puts a smile on your face.
