It all started way back 2006 as a personal hobby that eventually evolved with great passion in car audio tuning and single handed installations that leads to now called "SimpleSound". It's a one man car audio shop that every installation will be treated as one of his masterpiece.

Turning a BYD Shark into a proper front-stage monster? That’s exactly what this build delivers.

What started as a solid 2-way setup with Focal FRAK tweeters and 6.5KM midbass has now evolved into a full 3-way active front system. With two spare channels available on the DSP/amp, we took the opportunity to step things up—adding the 3KM midrange and fabricating a fully customized A-pillar to house the new drivers.

Now running full active (tweeter, midrange, midbass, plus sub), the system gives us complete control—timing, crossover points, and tonal balance all dialed in with precision.

For the pillar design, we explored a more competition-inspired approach—something we’ve seen work beautifully at the EMMA Euro Finals. The tweeters are aimed on-axis for pinpoint detail and sparkle, while the midranges are set slightly off-axis. This combination creates a wider, more immersive soundstage, while maintaining strong center focus and image stability.

The result? A presentation that feels expansive yet controlled—vocals locked in place, instruments breathing with space, and a stage that stretches beyond the cabin.

A European trip wouldn’t be complete without a visit to Micro Precision—and of course, time with Thomas Hoffmann himself.

We had the privilege of getting a first look at the new Z Studio amplifiers, along with a sneak preview of the soon-to-be-released 7.8 wide-range speakers. Hearing Thomas break down the technology behind his designs—then watching him demonstrate the speaker-building process firsthand—was something truly special. You don’t just see the craftsmanship, you feel the passion and precision in every detail.

To cap off an already unforgettable day, Thomas welcomed us into his new home for an omakase-style dinner, personally prepared by him. Every dish was thoughtfully crafted, rich in flavor, and beautifully presented—an extension of the same dedication he puts into his audio creations.

Shared with great company—friends from Singapore and Indonesia—it was a night filled with good food, great conversations, and a deeper appreciation for the art of sound and hospitality.

This GAC GS8 received a subtle yet meaningful audio upgrade—keeping cargo space fully usable for camping and daily hauling, while elevating the listening experience.

Up front, Focal 165AS delivers clean and detailed sound, paired with a JL Audio 8W1v3 in a custom OEM-style enclosure for tight, controlled lows. Power and processing come from the Mosconi Pico 6/8 DSP, all installed cleanly and seamlessly, preserving the factory look.

No compromises on space. Just simple, refined sound—tuned for everyday drives and family enjoyment.

Built for the wild, now tuned for the ears.

This Toyota LandCruiser 79 came in with a very basic stock system—so we gave it a proper simple sound upgrade without losing its rugged soul.

Up front, it now runs a Focal 165F3E 3-way set, with custom A-pillars and door modifications to bring out proper staging and midbass performance. Source is a Pioneer DMH-Z5350BT, adding modern essentials like Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

For power and control, we paired a Goldhorn DSPA 816 Pro with a Crescendo Revolution 1A1, driving a Focal PSB200 sub for tight, musical low end.

To keep everything clean and solid, we treated the front doors and rear floor with CTK Standard Pro deadening. Finished it off with subtle custom touches that blend seamlessly with the interior.

Simple, clean, and done right—just how it should be.

From the Philippines 🇵🇭 to the global stage, we now stand as officially certified 2026 EMMA International Head Judges. A proud moment made even more special as we represent what is likely the largest group to achieve this together—proof of how far our passion and dedication have come.

What started as individual pursuits has grown into something bigger: a shared vision to elevate sound quality, judging standards, and the craft we all love. Through days of learning, refining, and exchanging knowledge with the best in the industry, we didn’t just gain titles—we gained perspective, camaraderie, and renewed purpose.

Surrounded by some of the finest installers and sound quality minds in the industry, it’s more than just training—it’s a gathering of passion, precision, and shared obsession for great audio. Every session sharpens our ears, deepens our understanding, and pushes us to elevate the standards of car audio judging even further.

From dissecting the smallest tonal nuances to refining staging and imaging evaluation, today has been all about leveling up. The conversations alone—exchanging ideas, techniques, and experiences with fellow top-tier installers—are priceless.

A subtle yet meaningful evolution for this Toyota Altis—because great sound is always a journey.

Still anchored on a proven front stage, we retained the trusted 3-way Micro Precision setup: 7.28 tweeter, 5.8 midrange, and 7.16 midbass, all carefully integrated and driven by the ever-reliable Helix DSP Pro. A combination that continues to deliver clarity, balance, and finesse.

This time, we elevated the system further.

Power now comes from the Crescendo Revolution 7A4, bringing more control, authority, and effortlessness to the entire spectrum. Low frequencies are handled by the Crescendo Revolution 710 subwoofer—tight, musical, and perfectly blended to complement the front stage.

The trunk has also been reimagined—custom-built not just for function, but to proudly showcase the new equipment. Clean, intentional, and in line with EMMA installation standards.

Everything dialed in for what truly matters: natural tonality, precise staging, and an immersive listening experience.

Some clients become more than just customers—they become part of the journey. This particular build carries a bit more emotion than usual. The owner is someone very dear to us, and it was his brother who first introduced him to our shop many years ago. Through the years, we’ve had the privilege of working on several of their cars, and they’ve sent countless friends our way. Truly a blessing to us in more ways than one.

It saddens us to know that his brother has recently passed away. We know he would have loved to hear this setup. But in our hearts, we believe he’s smiling down from above, proud to see another build come to life.

For this project, we recommended something the owner hadn’t tried before—Crescendo. And as it turns out, it was exactly to his liking.

Front stage features the Crescendo Revolution 1S2, paired with the Crescendo Revolution 110 subwoofer providing the foundation on the low end. Everything is powered and controlled by the Rainbow EL-PA6.8, giving us the flexibility to dial in the sound just right. As always, the doors are properly treated with CTK Standard Pro to ensure a solid acoustic foundation.

And just like before—solid installation, careful tuning, and attention to every little detail.

A Toyota RAV4 came in for a serious sound quality upgrade, and we kept the formula simple—because when the right components and proper installation come together, great sound naturally follows.

Up front, we installed the Focal PS 165F3E 3-way component set, complemented by the smooth and detailed STEG SST50 tweeters, beautifully integrated into a custom A-pillar build. The midrange remains in the factory dash location, allowing us to maintain the vehicle’s clean OEM look while optimizing staging and imaging.

To create the proper acoustic environment, the doors were carefully treated with CTK Standard Pro damping—reducing unwanted resonance and giving the midbass the solid foundation it deserves.

Handling the low frequencies is the Focal 25FE subwoofer, housed in our computed detachable enclosure. The box was designed to blend seamlessly with the front stage, keeping tonal consistency since it shares the same model lineage and cone material as the front speakers. The result is bass that is deep, controlled, and naturally integrated into the music—not overpowering, but perfectly supportive.

For tuning and amplification duties, the system runs through the powerful Goldhorn DSPA 816 Pro processor-amplifier combo, paired with the dedicated muscle of the Helix M One mono amplifier driving the subwoofer. This setup gives us the precision and control needed to shape the stage, balance tonality, and bring every detail of the music to life.

Even the electrical side received attention. We upgraded the main fuse to Harmonic Harmony Fuse to ensure stable and efficient power delivery—because every bit of clean power counts in a high-performance system.

For security and peace of mind, we also installed the GNET G‑ON2 dash camera system, providing reliable monitoring and protection for the vehicle.

As always, we kept to our tradition:
clean workmanship, solid installation, and tuning focused purely on musical enjoyment.

After discovering his favorite sound signature, the choice was clear — he’s sticking with Focal.

Up front, we installed the stunning Focal K2M 3-way system featuring the FRAK tweeters, 3KM midrange, and 6.5KM midbass drivers. The tweeters and midranges are beautifully integrated into custom-crafted A-pillars, while the midbass drivers sit in precision-built mounts. Every detail was designed to optimize performance — including thorough door treatment using CTK Standard Pro damping to create the perfect acoustic foundation.

For low-frequency authority, we went with the Focal 20FSE subwoofer, seamlessly tucked under the rear seat in a custom fiberglass enclosure. Tight, controlled, and perfectly blended with the front stage.
