Fractal Ridge by Fractal Design
Testing two different coolers for the Ryzen 7 7700.
Which is better?
1.) ID Cooling IS-55
2.) Thermalright AXP90-X47 Full
Answer: NEITHER is better than the other.
They are both good coolers as long as the dimensions fit and are compatible with the other parts for your ITX build.
When it comes to ITX Builds, Coolers are less important.
This is because ITX cases will most of the time, if not Always will be hot, and will reach maximum temperatures under full load.
Coolers are there to keep your system cool when idle. But correct Bios settings and alterations will be key to controlled temperatures for your CPU under load, without sacrificing too much performance.
May it be alterations to the curve optimizer, TDP settings and much more.
Here in ITXLabs, We make sure your system gets the right and controlled settings so that you wont have to worry about temps when you're gaming or putting your system under heavy load.
