People often ask: "Where do you get your batteries?"
The answer? We build them from the ground up! 🔋⚡
Instead of relying on off-the-shelf power, we designed our own battery-making setup to meet our exact standards. We handpick refurbished batteries and rigorously test high-drain 18650 cells before spot-welding them into custom 2S or 3S packs. Right now, we’re packing serious power using Molicel P26A cells (a massive 2500mAh capacity and 35A continuous drain), paired exclusively with heat-resistant silicone wires, XT30 connectors, and XH2.54 balance cables.
Safety is just as important as power. We designed our packs so the nickel strips act as a fail-safe fuse—cutting off during extreme overuse to prevent thermal issues and protect the kits. Sealed in a sturdy shrink wrap, we’re proud to say we haven’t had a single battery explosion or damage issue in two years of intense R&D and competing! 🚀

Two years ago, Mini Hunter started right here—no fancy parts, no shortcuts, just pure hand-cut metal, a custom-fitted protoboard, and a lot of patience. 🛠️🤖
Looking back at these early R&D days, it’s wild to see how far things have come. Every single recommendation, tweak, and suggestion you guys gave along the way was tested and built into the design. What started as a completely raw, hands-on prototype laid the ground work for everything Mini Hunter is today—faster, tougher, and way more dialed in.
