Just graduated and wanted to get started with how the dev world works? Signup to the following websites and get connected to a network of developers and recruiters:
1. Github - every developer has a github profile, it's where they store their codebase and collaborate with other developers easily. Think of it as a "facebook" for developers. https://github.com/
2 Stackoverflow - most coding problem has most likely been experienced by other developers before, and you will find the answers usually from stackoverflow. Post your questions and answers to some of the stuff you think you know, and slowly build your credibility there. https://stackoverflow.com/
3. udemy - learning doesn't stop at school, we developers should be up to date with the latest tech stack and continue learning. udemy has a wide range of video tutorials not just for programming but also for management, personal development, and so on. check it out. https://www.udemy.com/
4. Linkedin - of course if you are actively lookin for a job, you need some sort of online presence and linkedin is your ticket for that. Build your linkedin profile, upload your resume there, and connect with recruiters and other developers. https://www.linkedin.com/
5. no need to signup for this, but of course you need to build your OWN website. it will be your playing ground in honing your skills. Show off those reactjs, or vuejs skills you've learned from udemy and upload your first codebase into github!
Happy coding!
