Last March, I returned to one of my favorite places to eat, slow down, and simply enjoy, Lakeview Le Jardin.

So when they invited me to photograph the venue, from the beautifully prepared food and cozy rooms to the dreamy little corners and overall atmosphere, saying yes was easy. I had already been taking photos there for fun, simply because the place is effortlessly beautiful.

The food is delicious, the surroundings are calming, and almost every corner feels made for lingering a little longer. Sharing some of my favorite food shots from that day, and honestly, looking through them makes me want to go back again.

I may have disappeared from this little corner of the internet for a while, which was probably a little crazy, but I’m back. And yes, I still love doing this very much.

I realised while doing this shoot how much I missed taking pictures. My camera and I, we are forever a team. I still accept shoot assignments, but I’ve become very choosy with what I say yes to.

Meeting the Bindel family, taking their photos, and still feeling that familiar flutter in my heart while shooting, that was one of those moments that reminded me why I love this so much.
