I started playing the drums when I was 12 years old after being recruited to a drum choir. I liked it, however, I thought playing on a set was way cooler.

Striving to be better is what keeps me going. At times, there are certain songs you could play easily and some that are just way too hard, yet, this is what inspires you to become better. You wouldn't realize it but the songs you once considered to be difficult will naturally come off easy and there'd be another set of hard ones up on your list and the cycle goes on. You'd just be surprised at how much success you've accomplished.

Drumming is difficult. You need to have mastery over your hand and foot techniques/coordinations to be able to flow your orchestration and creativity into the kit. Fast is fast, slow is slow, and the groove is the groove. Start from scratch and learn the basics.

The drummer is actually the most important foundation of the band. You set the pacing and rhythm and the others would just follow. If you want to be a drummer, you really need to master your craft.

I started managing when I accidentally landed the job as a road manager in my former agency back in 2007 and after a few years, I organized my own. Just like everybody, I started from scratch, but I was confident in my new approach of talent management, since, from my observation in the industry, no one seemed to have carried it out successfully yet back then. My job as a manager is to simply make sure that all of the talent under our wing will have a job and grow their career one step at a time.

Inspiration is very important and it is what keeps me going. And yes, a good team is what makes everything work and without it, it is hard to achieve any goal; they are also my inspiration as well. Everyone has their own time, so giving up is never an option.

The reason why I love to manage models, artists, and creatives is because I want to be part of their journey as their dreams turn to reality, and I do this by finding the right opportunities and guiding them. As long as someone needs my help, I’ll be right here ready to manage.

Ever since childhood, I can remember I was
already making DIY jewellery for my neighbours with candy wrappers. It was perhaps easy telltale signs of TRASHION.

Long before big brands started to use ocean
plastics in fashion, I have been creating fashion from trash. Coming from a city that is surrounded with water, it was easy for me to find garbage and use them to create wearable art, sculptures and accessories.

Now, trashion has become a fashion trend and
I am so glad that my small commitment help sparked a global movement. Being an artist and a creative practitioner, it is my advocacy to push for the creative sector to play a significant role in efforts to raise awareness of the impacts of climate change.
