NO 3G/4G SIGNAL? OR SLOW DATA CONNECTION? HERE'S THE SOLUTION!
Read! 👇👇👇
In 2019, 70.7 percent of the population in the Philippines was using the internet. By 2025, it is estimated that there would be 77.1 percent of the population using the internet. Perhaps because there are now more affordable devices such as laptop computers and Android mobile phones available in the market. Also, the two telecommunication companies in the Philippines, namely PLDT-Smart and Globe, are offering an array of cheaper data plans for both postpaid and prepaid subscribers.
INTERNET IN THE PHILIPPINES
While the Philippines itself recorded the highest percentage of internet users (aged 16 to 64) who report spending more time on social media in recent weeks, the Philippines also recorded a 15 percent slowdown of internet speeds from February to March 2020.
Despite this good development on internet pe*******on in the country, there is still a huge number of Filipinos who have no access to the internet due to poor to almost no 3G/4G coverage especially in remote and far-flung areas in the country. Today, as COVID-19 pandemic spread, people all over the world turned to their smartphones, laptops, and other devices while strict lockdowns limited movement outside.
Thus, we need a stable, reliable and accessible wireless internet connection.
THE SOLUTION
Shiftorgph I.T. Solutions is a duly registered business entity which sells and installs internet-related hardware and software. It also offers consultancy and training services to provide information and communication technology solutions particularly in remote, rural and far-flung areas in the Philippines.
Our mission is to provide an accessible, reliable and affordable internet connection where there is poor 3G/4G signal using wireless technology. This is our shared vision: Technology and access to the Internet for every Filipino.
WHY GO WIRELESS?
Because broadband is yet to become more accessible and affordable for Filipinos, Philippine internet use is highly mobile.
Many users depend on more affordable options like Free Facebook and mobile promos which, while cheap, restrict the kinds of content that they can access (usually to social media platforms only). Broadband or those “wired connections” require more investment to telecommunication companies in terms of putting up infrastructures, thus requiring more workforce so that every household can have access to the internet. In return, it will be more expensive for an ordinary Filipino.
There are key benefits to having a prepaid wireless internet connection:
✅ IT’S PLUG AND PLAY - anytime, anywhere.
✅ NO COMMITMENT - no contract, no monthly bill.
✅ IT’S FLEXIBLE - you can select or switch to any network.
✅ IT’S CHEAPER IN THE LONG RUN - just do the math and you’ll be surprised how much you will save.
✅ AND LASTLY, YOU OWN IT - you own the router, the antenna, the cables, everything!
In this day and age, the absence of a meaningful internet connection, especially in undeserved communities, means many workers, learners, and citizens will be excluded and left behind. Such exclusion will be even more evident as the country transitions to the “new normal,” where not only work and education, but also essential activities like government and commercial transactions will possibly shift to digital modes.
