Just like a Neandertal, her artistic spark started as off as her habit of doodling all over the walls of her house in her childhood. Despite the dejection caused by constant stigma she experienced in her youth, she never found herself stopping. Her art grew along her fascination with illustrations she found in story books, comics and artistic films. Eager to satisfy her family’s expectations, she
spent a year studying science in electronics and communication engineering in college before she has proven to herself that she is destined to take an artistic career. It was her journey through graduating from Bachelor of Fine Arts major in Visual Communication in Philippine Women’s College of Davao on 2019 that pushed her art of illustration and graphic design into maturity. Her art often reflects the diverse culture, fresh trends and the nature of society of the contemporary world. Her style is best defined with childish rhythm and humor, vivified with bright contrasting colors, beckoning for attention and conversations. She has been building her own artistry to commission since college with examples of his work from book illustrations, store merchandise, digital banners, company logos, institutional collateral and rarely hanging in neat white spaces in frames. She also conducts and invited to different seminars as a resource speaker by various institutions to convey her expertise, the whereabouts of basics and how to prepare the necessary materials for the printing or digital bureau. Currently, she works in a company as a graphic designer with exceptional style in designing yearbook covers, posters and other digital rendered works while juggling her time in working her own craft.
