Intelβs processor names can be confusing, but hereβs the quick breakdown:
πΉ i3 β Basic performance for everyday tasks
πΉ i5 β Mid-range, great for multitasking
πΉ i7 β High performance for demanding work
πΉ i9 β Top-tier power for heavy workloads
π‘ Bigger number = more power, but the most expensive isnβt always the best for your needs.
What really matters:
β Generation: Newer generations perform better (e.g. 10th gen > 7th gen)
β Cores & Speed: More cores = better multitasking
β Suffix letters (U, H, K, etc.): Indicate power usage, graphics, or overclocking
β Cache size: More cache = faster everyday performance
π Two laptops with the same βi5β can perform very differently depending on generation and specs.
Bottom line: Choose the processor based on what you do, not just the name.
