Huffing and Puffing: Puffer fish are small, round ocean dwellers famous for their unique defense trick: when threatened, they gulp water or air to inflate into a spiky ball up to 3x their normal size. That makes them hard for predators to swallow. Many species also carry tetrodotoxin in their organs and skin — one of the strongest natural poisons — which is why some puffer fish are deadly if eaten unprepared. Despite the danger, they’re surprisingly smart and curious. Some species can recognize humans, and the males of the spotted puffer even create intricate geometric patterns in the sand to attract mates. So they’re cute, clever, and definitely not fish you want to mess with without training.
Just don't even try to make and fish dish with this.
